Psychology of language

Language forms

narrative and paradigms, propositional calculus, parts of speech, inflectional forms

What is said is one of the most specific manifestations of our thoughts, attitudes and preferred ways of action: it can be recorded, written down and subjected to a reliable and precise quantitative and qualitative analysis. Studying language is our passion and the most basic method of work.

Markets are conversations

Strategy and innovation

motivation and loyalty, trends, segments, managers, systems

The ability to decentralise, i.e. to go beyond one’s own needs, thoughts and aspirations, is a prerequisite for understanding company’s strategic communities and market opportunities. The lack of precise mapping of competition’s position, its strategic business units and currently implemented tactical manoeuvres expose our best ideas and investments to a huge risk.

Action Logic

models of adult human development, stages and crises

In our work, we meet people characterised by extremely different Action Logic. Some think almost exclusively about themselves and what is most important to them: they destroy motivation, commitment, joy and optimism around themselves. Others can listen, understand and surround their team with a special kind of care: if they can lead others, they become effective leaders in their communities.

Our offer

Psychology of communication

“Everything we do at Whitefox is about communication in any case.”

Regardless of whether we present managers with their favourite words, phrases and grammatical structures, or describe how customer’s facial expressions and the underlying emotions will affect the sale of a new product, everything boils down to the ability to listen and speak carefully.

Development programmes

We provide the Development Centre and training courses for managers, traders and R&D departments.

Strategic workshops

We create development strategies that connect companies with their customers’ and employees’ needs and motivations.

Competency models

We develop and implement models of soft and technical competencies.

HRM platform

We provide HRM services supporting all key HR processes, and AC/DC tests and studies.

It would be difficult to understand our customers and employees in a situation where we would listen: a. only to our own fears and sorrows, b. our own ideas and assumptions that we deem as solely legitimate, c. our own short-term small goals and aspirations that are specifically measured. It is then that we most often remain silent and suspend emotions, or shout and control everything. We end in crisis and conflict.

Assessment and

Development

Center

At AC/DC sessions organised by Whitefox, we work with recordings of conversations and meetings.

Linguistic method

3000 transcripts of AC/DC exercises, 152 language forms, 10,000 photos of emotional expression, 500 facial analysis points

The Whitefox Statement Coding System was created on the basis of an analysis of over 3,000 transcripts recorded during the Assessment and Development Centre sessions, exercises and simulations.

Our research repository includes: superior-subordinate conversations, conversations with a team, B2B and B2C trade talks, customer service conversations, negotiations, interviews in respect of work organisation, group discussions on strategic planning and management, presentations.

Based on the analyses of collected recordings, and using studies and theories in the field of language psychology, linguistics and leadership, we have identified 152 language forms that directly affect effective communication in the above-listed contexts. During our training courses, we particularly focus on discussing and training the words, phrases and grammar structures guaranteeing that your managers and salespeople will achieve their goals because of the way they talk.

Everything we do at Whitefox is about communication in any case. Communication is the language, emotions and logic of action. However, it is the language that is the key to change and growth.

An important part of almost all developmental activities performed by Whitefox is the improvement of the ability to read emotional expressions that precede everything we hear and say.

To practice and master the recognition of emotional states of other people, we use computer software developed based on a manual analysis of 10,000 photographs showing 7 basic emotions. The application creates a face grid composed of 500 key points that enable to monitor even the slightest movements of muscles involved in emotional expressions.

Whitefox specialises in analysing the language characteristic for particular stages of adult human development. Leadership models and logic of action of 15% most effective leaders (individualist, strategist) are the heart of our system.
